At Hope Alliance Church, we consider ourselves to be one big family. Like any family, there can be squabbles, miscommunication, and the occasional fights over who gets the remote. But there is a pervasive and genuine love for each other at the core, a way of being that we see as a privilege and responsibility, and openness to love new family members yet to come.
Our mission is to follow the greatest commandment. Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39
For the most part, the people of Hope come from Melrose and the surrounding cities. But every person, no matter where they come from, has their own story to tell, their own sum of experiences that help make up the whole, and their own walk with Jesus.
Hope Alliance Church is made up of an eclectic group of people who simply want to follow Jesus and in doing so, have created a community that is like family. Come on in, pull up a chair, and make yourself at home.
